The UV series recommended for printing membrane switches

Membrane keyboards are devices using thin plastic films as keys base.

These keyboards offer several advantages as ease of cleaning as well as water and dust resistances.

There are no limitations in its application, as they are used on a daily basis in several fields from automotive, shipbuilding, household appliances, medical, toys marketing and on any electronic devices.

Screen printing inks for these kinds of products need to show outstanding mechanical and chemical resistances to everyday usage, as well as being able to be suitable for deep drawing.

Usually, the membrane keyboard market is dominated by solvent based inks (as our TM ink series), but it is possible to get excellent results without UV curing inks as well.

Sericom Italia suggests ink series UV-TM.

This one component ink with glossy finish can be cured with both traditional and LED UV lamps.

UV-TM offers excellent printability, good flexibility and abrasion resistance; it is ideal for polycarbonate and treated polyester for deep drawing.

Color shade includes also transparent high gloss base 170 L and satin base 170 T.
