The mild system
Conventional inks could be aggressive on plastic materials obtained by injection molding, such as Polystyrene ( PS ) or Polycarbonate ( PC ), as their solvent mixture could cause tension inside the materials and give rise to the formation of cracks.
For such applications, Sericom Italia propose 𝗫𝗟 screen printing ink series, as the formulation of this ink range is based on especially mild solvents.
One-component ink with a glossy appearance and good performance for cosmetics.
We suggest diluting the ink with the specific mild solvents such as 𝗫𝗟-𝗗𝗠, 𝗩𝗦 and 𝗩𝗛.
Color range includes, in addition to the standard shades EXTRA M and INK SYSTEM, 9 transparent shades.
An example of application of XL series is the decoration of shopping mall beauty store displays.
